Hey all,

I met with one of the principals from Food 2 Store yesterday.  We were at his development shop in Crouch.  What a pretty drive.

Doug told us about the products they are bringing in and how they are selecting them.  He was telling us about setting up preparedness demonstrations (including tasting samples - yum).  His wife makes sour cream, cheese, yogurt, cottage cheese etc from the milks and then uses the freeze dried fruits and berries to make pies etc.  mmmm makes my mouth water.  They have a neighbor of mine grow the wheat they sell so I know where it comes from and how it is grown - nice to know.  We spent an hour or so on the preparedness subject so It would be huge if I wrote it all here.

I can get a list of what they have if anyone would like.

I asked if they would be willing to do a demo session for our group.  He said he would consider it so ... what is the interest from the group?

I would bring my family along, since we all get involved in this issue.

Great,

I appreciate the replies.

I actually look at food storage more than preparedness.  We use it to lower our food bills as we use it.  The more it is incorporated into our normal routine, the less our routine will change when situations change.
