I noticed a couple of you own one of these, I'm needing your opinion on them.

I'm looking at the Molle Plate Carrier with cummerbund (probably in multi-cam):

http://www.skdtac.com/Eagle_Plate_Carrier_Cummerbund_p/eag.568.htm

Is the cummerbund worth the extra money?  Does it make much of a difference?

The only place I have found one is SKDTAC, does anyone else sell them?  Is there anyway to get one for cheaper?

Where did you buy your attachments? Which ones are needed, which do you recommend?

Thanks for any input, I know that's a lot of questions.

You need to determine:  How much (and what) you plan on carrying. What kind of ops (mounted/getting in and out of a vehicle, on foot, stationary, near water/quick-release,etc)?  Soft armor underneath-such as IIIA? 3-gun/range training?  Law Enforcement?
You have several options.  Jeff probably has some plate carriers. Try him first. If he doesn't, or you don't see what fits your needs, go to "Grey Group Training".  They'll set you up.

More specifics:

It will mainly be for 3 gun and training type stuff. I want it to carry mags and gear, but I wont be buying plates for a long time.

I like vests much better then chest rigs and want the ability to install plates if I decide to. I also want it to be all molle for customization and real estate.  I would be carrying a standard loadout of mags, light, ifak, marker, etc.  Being light as possible.

I have no need for quick release or water related features. Mostly on foot type stuff as well.

Well, first off, if you're not going to be using plates in conjunction with your carrier, don't get a carrier.
The carrier isn't going to wear right without plates, the cumberbun particularly won't wear right.
It needs the plates to keep it in place. It will slide one way or the other without the plates.

I prefer to wear mine with cumberbun. It gives me that little bit of extra PALS to have everything I
need within my reach.

I'm not sure what you mean by "attachments"..are you asking about IFAKS or pouches?
