If you watch the videos or see the still pics of the military shooting team ammo loaders you notice they never handle brass without wearing gloves.
Even the folks who do not shoot but just handle the loading wear gloves.
They say that the care with which they handle the brass so as to leave it looking spotless gives confidence to the shooters. The shooters feel that if the loaders care enough to put out spotless cases means they must also care as much about the ammo itself. Just psyc but a lot of shooting well is.
If I corn cob tumble my brass I add a few drops of mineral spirits to the cob.
Hornady one shot or Dillon spritz for lube. For some reason tend not to get many stains later on even though my finger prints tend to be salty.
