Nobody can beat the prices at Walmart.  The only question is if they have what you need.  I see the same ammo at Cabelas for 150% of what Walmart is selling it for.. Sad

to be fair cabelas has had tula and pmc 223 ammo for pretty cheap lately.. 3.99/20 for tula and 6.50/20 pmc and the 22lr has been about the same as at walmart for the bulk federal packs around 20/550. generally though pistol ammo is cheaper at walmart i picked up a box of 100 9mm for around 18 dollars a few weeks back

What about Kermit?  Or does he not do hunting ammo?

Yeah that's true, they do tend to have some pretty good sales on occasion.

Check out the Hunting Shack (HSM). I just bought some 308 ammo from them that seemed really reasonable.

Sheepdog is building some 168gr A Max rounds that are shooting 3.875" groups at 400y out of my gun.  Good stuff.  And he is a forum supporter.
Adios,
