Item being reviewed: Center of Mass IWB Holster for Ruger LCP/Keltec P3AT w/ crimson trace

Description of item: Kydex holster with a metal clip for carrying:

Description of review tests: Well to test the holster I wore it, alot. I used it wearing jeans, shorts, khakis, and gym clothes. This has been basically everyday for a month. I have done different activities with the holster such as: sitting on my ass eating doritos and playing playstation and going on a mild hike for a few hours.

Pros: The holster is small, "no shit, it's for a small gun!" I said the same thing! It is easily concealed in normal attire as well as gymshorts and a t-shirt. Another plus is that since it is lighter weight wearing it with elastic waisted shorts does not cause it to droop down and pull your shorts with it.

Cons: The holster can shift around and turn forward every so often, but that depends on the pants/shorts one is wearing. The retention is pretty intense and can make drawing a bit difficult at first, however this is going away as I draw the pistol more and more to sort of break in the holster.

Best Uses: Well besides the fact that I can now comfortably and confidently carry a gun in my speedo, I would say summer time when not alot of clothing is worn making a larger pistol more difficult to conceal. I think most of us agree not carrying a gun is basically being naked, so now with this little guy we can compromise, keep our shorts on and still be armed.

Duration Used: So far I have had this holster for one month, and I have worn it atleast once a day. Sometimes only for a quick trip to the store, other times for several hours doing slave labor at the SAWTAC shop.. Shocked

Where Purchased: I got this from Jeff at SAWTAC

Cost: $30.00 (although I have heard he accepts frontal nudity as a means of payment)

Rating 4.3 (only because there is no perfect holster)

Good reveiw, been looking for another holster/option to carry the LCP. I currently have the De Santis pocket holster, it works great, but don't always like it in my pocket.

Thanks, I also had the pocket holster and it destroyed most of my pants back pockets. For the price you can't beat these holsters.  Wink

How was the draw stroke?  Are you able to get a "full" firing grip (as full as possible on a small pistol) before the gun comes out of it's holster?

I would say it's about full firing grip on the draw.
