Nice looking bear!  Last fall, while deer hunting, we saw bear sign all over the place up by Thorn Creek Butte above Idaho City.

When we were sitting on a hillside early one morning, I was glassing the draw down below us... kept seeing something, but the light was still poor.  As the sun came up, I realized what I saw were to bait barrels!  Then we moved a bit and I saw the tree stand that had been left there.  It wasn't in too good of shape... don't know that it would have actually held a full grown man!

Yup i know the exact spot that tree stand is still up there! A Outfitter put it up over some of our baits to try to draw off our work!!
