I'm new to reloading: looking for reload Data* on the .318 190 grain (Lead) I have the RCBS dies and reloader , as well as a small supply of Bullets for my 1923 Merkel Drilling (Dbl 16Ga over 8X57J). The REAL CONUNDRUM is - I was hoping to take Pig on the Central California Coast-2 Issues 1) California Condor Country requires Lead Free Bullets- No one I have found casts** a Lead free .318 Bullet. 2) Probably outside Boise Shooters area of expertise-- the three year drought has reduced the Pig Population significantly in San Benito County, for now.* Preferably for IMR4350 powder as I have that for my back up gun a Tika T3 270WSM with Sako action- Federal makes the 130 gr TSX which I have. The 270WSM shoots better with 150 gr bullet, BUT 150 GR TSX warns about 10 revolutions or better. Mine is 9 or 9.5 I believe.** Are 'Cast' & "Swedge" essentially the same thing?Mark (MASTUR)
Best advice I can give you beyond that is to consider a rebarrel job.
Or stay out of the Central California Coast and live life in Idaho where it's OK to be an American and shoot your guns!
