Springer Precision FASTMAG .223 Pmag Coupler - Updated
« on: June 01, 2010, 06:52:44 PM »
Forum crashed in the middle of writing this reveiw so here it is finished.

Item being reviewed: Springer Precision FASTMAG .223 Pmag Coupler

Description of item: Just what it says, it's holds two pmags together, but instead of a holding them in the middle, this couple replaces the bottom of the PMAG. The couple is actually the bottom of both mags.

Description of review tests:

Works awesome, for 3 gun stuff... you can us a regular mag holder but you have two. The other great thing is that it becomes a very stable mono pod when on the gun as well for shooting prone.

Pros: made of lightweight aluminium, sold as a rock, no flex in the coupler only in the mags

Cons: expensive

Best Uses: 3 gun, patrol shoot, when you need lots of ammo really close at hand, MZB Hunting

Duration Used: about an hour

Where purchased:springer precision, http://www.springerprecision.com/

Cost: $42.50

Rating: 5, this coupler is rock solid!

I used one of these at the last 3-gun match.  Worked awesome on stage 1.  I shot 14 or 15 shots on the first go around, then on the second since I wasn't sure I could hit all the steel with what was left I switched to the second mag before going prone.

Seemed like it was faster to reload with the coupled mag than reaching back to the belt for a fresh one.  Plus the extra width gave me a better platform to shoot off of than a single mag.

Me likey
Life is hard.  It's harder if you're stupid and can't shoot straight.

I have a bunch of them in stock for 5.56 pmags and lr308 pmags and they passed our field tests with flying colors.
