Topic: Local option for lead 45acp 200gr lswc?

Precision Delta, as slow on delivery as they are, has great prices on 200 grain LSWC. I can wait seeing as how I am still deciding on which 45 game gun to get that has a lead-friendly barrel stock. Anyway, someone mentioned that I should inquire for a local lead caster with prices better than PD's. I don't know if this is realistic to beat 9.4 cents per bullet delivered, but wanted to ask before my $$$ was sent out of state.

Nothing locally, but someone told me about Missouri Bullets. In stock, ships faster than PD and the prices are considerably less.

round nose have always worked better in all my 45s so try a few lswc before you get a bunch like i did
and mb have always worked great and shipped quick for me

Nate Goodfellow was making and selling cast boolits. He had 230rn and 200lswc. I can't find his email addy but you can probably post something on the Parma board to get in touch with him.

I use an H&G type 200lswc in all of my .45's, never had an issue. Load them to 1.255" and crimp @ .469/.470 and you should be good to go. Unless of course you have a short throated Glock. Then you might have to seat with the shoulder of the bullet even with the case. Don't load them with the shoulder even with the case for a 1911.

If you want to try LSWC's before you buy a bunch, let me know. You can shoot some of mine after a match. Be fore warned, if you are an accuracy nerd, my load is addictive.
