Oh shit that reminds me the shot the person i was with made. One in a million. The .22 hit the little bastard from the side and all it did was scoop out both of his eyes and the front of his tiny little skull. Little guy was trying to run around and make his way back into the hole but still quite alive. Which category would that one fit in.

Dad and I like to hit them while they are crouched but standing . You hit them low and see how much Height they get . I have seen them go better than 10 feet in the air when motivated by a .220 Swift .

My sympathies are somewhat tempered by the images in my head of cattle stuck up to their hips or shoulders unable to free themselves. Pleasure in killing? No. However, I do take pleasure in doing rancher or dairyman a favor with every one of those buggers I feed to the coyotes.
Besides, I'll wager a glancing blow from a V-Max, Varmint Grenade, or Sinterfire is significantly more "humane" than what Mother Nature has in store for them.

Whether you like to say it or not everyone takes pleasure in shooting the little rodents, otherwise why would you be out there doing it. I fail to believe that the only reason you go out is to rid Idaho of a rodent problem, to just do your civic duty.

Speaking of which, going out again this Sunday around 1100 I think with a couple of people. Anyone is welcome to come along. Going to the same place Black Canyon area. Last week there was no one there except at the range when you first come in. It was great if you go way back in the back.

All i have to do is drive down my neighborhood and i usually get 1 or 2 a week with my truck..One was on the sidewalk on Sunday, Looked right at me, and started running for me, BAMM!! it hit my tires with so much force, it tore it's tail off...sickness!
