Howdy all,

I'm putting on a class on External Ballistics and Ballistics Calculators at Parma the end of May.

Below is the course announcement, if you are interested in lerarning about how ballistics works for Long Range Rifle and how to use a Ballistics Calculator to figure out your DOPE.

This class is for shooters who are interested in learning about External Ballistics and Ballistic Calculators for Long Range Rifle Shooting.  Both experienced and beginning shooters will take away useful information from this class. It will consist of a several hours of classroom. Class will last until about 5pm.

Topics covered will include the following:
1.   Ballistics defined
2.   Speed of sound
3.   Barometric Pressure and Elevation/Altitude
4.   Air Temperature
5.   Humidity
6.   Ballistics Coefficient
7.   Muzzle Velocity
8.   Angle shooting
9.   Ballistic Calculator use


Class Requirements:
A.   Pad and pen/pencil
B.   Drinks/snacks
