Thought on long term meat supply....Canned or dried to mix with rice, beans, soup base, and endless ideas...
Spam, different flavors, fish tuna, and chicken......

We don't have much meat in food storage, but we are planning on getting some live chickens soon. I've heard chickens will eat almost anything, and their eggs are very good source of protein.
I figure if I wanted to store a lot of meat, the most economical way would be to preserve them with a pressure cooker.

canning...
along with some store bought canned meats is our main meat canning plan.
Cattle, goats, chcikens and wild game and fish will be also on the table.
Not living in this area , but in a remote location will also be critical.
