Topic: And yet another transfer....

Got word while I was R&R from a buddy of mine that I was being transferred along with about 25 other drivers up to COB Speicher which is north of Tikrit.  Got back from R&R on Tuesday, made it to Speicher yesterday morning.  Looks like it will be a nice base to work at, my first time here.

I always like the palaces in Tikrit much more than Baghdad...

Make sure you get a tour thru them, if possible.

I think they did a much better job on those. Less gaudy , somewhat more stately. still very excessive to be sure. Plus Tikrit is a nicer seasonal enviroment.
