Good luck.  Thoughts out to you.
Q: What was the most positive result of the "Cash for Clunkers" program?
A: It took 95% of the Obama bumper stickers off the road.

They are removing something, no one knows what it is. It will go to the pathologist to be checked out.

I lived through the surgery. Dr. still does not know what it is. He was telling me it could be cancer before he cut me open, but it is some kind of abscess, so now I have a drain tube hanging out of me. Thanks for the support guys.

I definitely know what you mean by "broke" - between my wife's medical bills and mine, we owe thousands on the Eternal Payment Plan.  Unfortunately, we still have to eat, pay rent, etc., etc.  Just her ambulance bill (from the seizures last week) was over $1000 !

Update: I am now just waiting for one more test to be read for the Dr. to stage it. Right now, it is about the best it can be, all things considered. It is localized to the right side, above the diaphragm. The last test to be read, is bone marrow, and I would ask all of you who pray, to pray that it is not in the marrow. If that is the case, I will be stage II and will start CHOP therapy, which is a form of chemo in the coming weeks.

He wants me to do 6 treatments, at 3 week intervals.

Thanks for your support.
God Bless and God Speed.

Prayers of healing sent, my friend.

Hang in there.  My older brother had some rare form of lymphoma almost 2 years ago now.  Went through Chemo, Radiation, the whole thing... felt like crap... BUT they also gave him some new sort of drug that helps the others do their job... kind of like a turbo boost.  What ever it was, he's been cancer free for 16 months now.

Hey Guys

Todd/AR10er is going in for another Surgery today, and will start "Chemo" some time over the next 24 hours.
If you could all keep him in your prayers, that would be great.

I will try to keep everyone updated as to whats going on with him, as I expect him to be off the grid for a while.

Hey Guys

Todd/AR10er is going in for another Surgery today, and will start "Chemo" some time over the next 24 hours.
If you could all keep him in your prayers, that would be great.

I will try to keep everyone updated as to whats going on with him, as I expect him to be off the grid for a while.

As of 1400hrs Idaho time, he's @ home and everything went well.

1st round of chemo done. I had none of the side effects they say you can have while getting it. I now pray that I will have none of the side effects that can take place over the next few weeks. Praise the Lord, for he alone is good!

Good to hear, Todd.  Don't be surprised if you get really, really tired.  That's ok - sleep as much as you can as your body needs the rest to fight along with the chemo.  Veg out and watch the tube.  :)

I've known quite a few people in the past who underwent chemo. the first few weeks ain't that bad, but after several sessions the side effects starts to catch up to you. some handle it better than others, my neighbor is also under going chemo too for lung cancer. Fight the good fight, and keep a positive attitude.

As WTF said an attitude of gratitude does work.........
Many times while going threw recovery i said, " Father I know what home is, but I'm not home sick"...
Doctor said a positive attitude is what saved me..........

Ok, next chemo is Friday. Just pray for me that the side effects stay away. Two Fridays back, I had to see the Dr. for a follow-up from the first treatment, and the Dr. was surprised at how well I was doing, I told him God said he would heal me, praise the Lord! He smiled for the first time since I have been seeing him.

Thanks Ralph, sorry about calling you Frank, I had a drug moment, I think?

The day of the treatment, I have no flu like symptoms, I just feel lousy, and day 2 is just a little better.

Just did my third round of chemo, and the Doc removed one of the drugs! He has been astounded at how I am healing, and at the fact that I have had almost no side effects. He said I should be great-full, as none of his patients have had so few with these drugs! I keep telling him I am healed.

He is going to let me do a CT in three weeks, and if there is no sign of cancer, I am done!

Praise God!

Thanks for all of the prayer guys, and ladies!

The CT came back, and the only thing out of the ordinary now, is the original lymph-node where this all started is still a little enlarged, but everything else is back to normal, and even this node is less than half the size it was. So, naturally, the Dr and liability lawyers want me to finish the chemo. One more to go.

Praise God!

Well, I hacked up some blood today, so they wanted me to go to the ER. Not going to happen, I have run up too much in bills.

Just need some prayer.

God Bless
