I made one a couple of years ago and it works pretty good quite a few dogs have gone down to this call.
its defenitly alot cheaper then a Foxpro but doesnt have the convenince of the remote.

still its not a bad idea if your thinking about getting into coyote hunting but dont have the skill or lungs for mouth calls but dont wanna pony up for the foxpro.

Jeff made one last year and posted pics somewhere here.

I made one but didn't use the case method.  I found a speaker and long speaker wire....about two hundred feet of wire.

I can control my IPOD from my hiding spot. And the speaker is far enough away that yotes don't see me.

I also made the wiggler thing from a toy at a yard sale. The toy really help in drawing them in to the speaker. Cause if you have noise only they will stop for 2 seconds and if they see nothing moving they run away real fats.

With some kind of movement they get interested and stand still for a ten seconds or even start coming in closer.

Mine worked great.  I gave it to a friend and haven't made a replacement.  Next one I build/buy will be wireless.

Jeff,
Do you have plans for a wireless unit?

I'm looking at this but I'm not sure about the range.

No plans. Too busy now so will probably just get a AR4 caller.
