Pheasants?
« on: October 16, 2009, 02:51:01 PM »
Anyone heading out for the opener of pheasant season tomorrow (Saturday)?  I'm taking my son and a friend out to Montour.  We had good luck there last year.

There were a couple of Ruffed that I saw... heard another.  Never could find him.  Should have shot the two I did see... at least I would have shot something!

Not tomorrow but the grand daughter will be 10 on the 23rd. Trying to decide on pheasants or ducks for that Saturday.

Take her to Montour and hunt both!

Thanks, guys.  We saw five roosters - three that were within range.  I got one... the boys should have each gotten one as well.   ::)
