Is lake Lowell a good place for upland game?
« on: October 12, 2009, 08:11:15 PM »
Just curious? I would like to get out and do some hunting. Any info about that area or surrounding areas would be great.

Looking at the IFG regs, it looks like Quail, Sharp-tailed Grouse, Chukar, Grey Partridge, and Pheasant are open right now.
I'm not too interested in all of them but I would like to get some quail...

If you would like to share some spots or refer me to some public land near by, that would be appreciated.

Thanks
-Justin

claytonia is a small upland game "sportsman access" point to the west.  have slayed fat quail there in the past.  surrounding area is farmland that is good for waterfowl if you have permission
I can't hear you over the sound of my own awesomeness.
