one tip rotate those toys often might not be a issue on the 1500 but on 2500 and 3500 they wear super fast if ya dont rotate often

just about to flip 63K and according to the CPU, I'm getting between 12 and 13 MPG. depending on how i drive... it is IFS as well as an Auto.it has a FABTECH 6" lift and 35" tires, hence the mileage. it also sports a Magnaflow cat back, Airaid CAI w/ box, and now a set of Black nerf bars. future plans include LINE-X and some fog lights...and...and...and...SM
intakes on hemis really hurt the mpg makes it so hard not to put your foot down just to listen to it
and the more i put my foot into it, the better the magnaflow sounds too. SM
Have you seen any change in your gas mileage since you worked on yourexhaust .........

Hey Shortmag, concerning the 35s, did you gear down? l'm looking at a lifted 2500/Hemi on 35s and I am told it has 4.73s! I'd rather it had the stock gearing for MPG & lose some low end grunt. BTW no nerf bars but it really needs them due to I'm guessing 6" Eazy lift .
and hey mark i have a set of toyo 35s on stock chrome alloys with 60to70% tread if your wife wants to look badass will make u a sweat deal on them

radiator, heater (core) fixed, new keyless entry fob, spare key, so on and so on....What do those parts have to do with an engine? You know if it were me I'd check around a bit. There are a lot of folks looking for work still and there might be a reputable shop that could certainly do that job just as well and a lot cheaper.

Is your new Jeep at Sundance Dodge ?? Amazingly enough I had a very similar experience with them as your having now when my Wifes old car was giving us some grief . I think it hung out there for about a month before they pulled their head out far enough to get it rolling again .
That is sweet and it will run just as long as a brand new vehicle. Plus the depreciation is already out of the thing. Yeah you had to spend a little money but in the long run better for you. Would rather have a Jeep than the Dodge you had. Congrats. How much was it total to fix it?
I have been fortunate to have access to the facilities to do my engine swaps.Of course, they have still not been a walk in the park
kept the old engine for a spare time project.
