So... what's the point of that?  To keep the gun from getting knocked out of battery?  To leave treadmarks on people's faces?   

Oh oh... is it to keep your Glock from slipping and falling when it's tip toeing around on wet surfaces?

Inquiring minds want to know.

If you got your gun pressed hard against someones gut/scrotal region/forehead it will go out of battery & no boom..if you use your thumb to press the slide back into battery you might get 1 shot off

Treadmarks are cool, but it would be better if it was diamond plate.
