brass at cabela's
« on: August 11, 2009, 11:12:53 PM »
Been meaning to post since last Saturday. Cabelas had 308 and 223 new brass in the bargain cave.

Can't remember the pricing, but they had about 700/308 and 200/223 winchester and Remington. Seems like it was about $36/100 or so.

They also had some .45 and .38 and some others.

Had a XDm 9mm mag too for $18, but that's not there any more  ;D

But no more 45 Colt. ;D
All data is flawed, some just less so.

Was that 308 per 50 or per 100 price?  I might have to stop by and pick up a couple hundred tomorrow.

You can just buy .308 Winchester brass from Cabelas at 36 bucks per 100 if you order 500 pieces at a time and have it sent to the store . Its 169 per 500 plus tax .

Was walking through the Bargain cave tonight and found Lapua 308 brass, 54 pieces for $12.99, needless to say they ain't there anymore.

Not sure what they are doing different, but there seems to be more reloading stuff in the bargain cave nowdays that in the past, might just be a phase of people returning things, but seems like a good place to walk thru once a week.
