I was looking at the 9mm. $20 for a box of 50 reloads?  Wallyworld has a box of 100 - new - for about $20.  (Granted it is hard to find, but it can be obtained.)

Q: What was the most positive result of the "Cash for Clunkers" program?
A: It took 95% of the Obama bumper stickers off the road.

Hey Mark,

We're working on hunting ammo right in: 243, .308, .270, and 30-06, in both leaded and unleaded (for CA Hunters: http://www.dfg.ca.gov/wildlife/hunting/condor/). We'll be adding these calibers in about 3-4 weeks.

Thanks....Craig

Not bashing at all precise buy why are the prices so high? Is there something I am missing. I buy federal at wally world for 8.97 per 50. Just curious as why I should pay more from you?

Since we're not Olin (Winchester) or ATK (Federal, Speer, CCI), we don't have the financial power they do. We do make ammunition that is pretty much custom made commercial ammunition. We build and test our recipes and make sure they're optimum.
I can't compete with the "big boys" and crank out a zillion rounds an hour, so we're working on offering Frangible training and solid copper ammo, as well as offering conventional ammo.
If you only want the cheapest price, then White Box and others are the way to go (I use to buy the stuff myself  ;D).
We're starting a business and don't have the capitalization and vertical integration these larger companies have (They make their own: brass, bullets, primers....) so we can't compete with the low price leaders....

Our quantity discounts are not on the website yet but we'll have them up there soon. For example: .223 Rem FMJBT remanufactured is only $199.95 per half case. That is lower than some other prices.

Remember that Walmart has contracts with manufacturers and could care less if they actually make a profit.  I suspect that the white box stuff is being sold at cost or below cost as a lost leader.  That's probably one reason not much of it shows up.

It also depends on the location Jeff. Walmart in south nampa has been pretty stocked up on .40's and 9mm. They don't even limit how many boxes you can buy now 8)

If this is true it sucks! I was told at one time that the ammo biz is  extremely difficult.  You have no idea the money that has to be put out in a venture like this , and componet procurement , testing, machine maintenance,  then you have to sell . everyone wants the caliber you dont make and then asks why not. you cannot satisfy everyone.  I wish it was that easy. You as shooters need to use local guys be it me or someone else or we will suffer the  same fate.  every small manufacturer trys to make the best products and still make a little money above their over head.  this is not a biz where you make a ton of money unless you can produce 100's of thousands of rounds a month.  Again I am truly sorry about this and hope it is not true. Hopefully they can at some point resume production. I met both the owners at the last Ironman match and they seemed to me to be nice and knowledgable and professional. .  Thanks  sheepdog 1
