Snipers Manual
« on: July 07, 2009, 05:12:15 PM »
I downloaded a snipers manual into the download section that has some good information on reloading, record keeping, shooting techniques and equipment for long range hunting.
Part 2 was a large file that I broke up into four files, you will need to download all four parts into a single folder and open part one to view the PDF file, if you would like this and can not download it send me a PM with your E-mail and I will send it to you.

Hey nice post. It looks like a great read, I'll have to read the whole thing some other time.  :o

Thanks TB

Your right this is a good read I think you will find a lot of useful information in these files.

I modified my original post to include all the file links, I noticed a lot of hits on part four and only one on the rest.

what program do i need to open these files ?

http://download.cnet.com/WinRAR/3000-2250_4-10007677.html

after you download all four parts of snipers manual -2 into one folder open part one with WinRAR and it will open into a PDF file. Boise Shooters has a limit on file size for the downloads and this was the only way I could upload.

The large file that I'm having trouble with is the (FM 3-22.10 Army Sniper Handbook) and it's 364 pages of info and 14,153KB and it looks like it might be too large to E-mail.
If you guys want this I will keep trying to find another way to upload it.

For those who are having problems here is what i did to get these open.

1. save the above program "WinRAR" to the desk top

2. then saved the snipers manual in a folder on the desktop

3. opend up the program i just download and clicked on "Run winRAR" button

4.click on "file" then "open archive" and select sniper manual

5. once it has opened i clicked on "extract to" and saved them to my desk top

6.repeat step 5 for the other files

I hope this makes sense as i am not very computer savy

Thanks again J Mack for posting this up
