lets see those reloading rooms
« on: May 29, 2009, 06:13:25 PM »
man caves, gun rooms, garage, tactical closet, whatever.......

i'll start:

since we just moved to a three bedroom house and we have no kids, I got a man cave.  it serves as my reloading room and "gun stuff" storage area.  it also houses some other crap in the closet.  but here it is:

the main reloading bench and supplies on the left:

and the rest of the "stuff" on the right:

what do you all have?

My little slice o'heaven.  Damn my bench is messy-proof of use.

Jeff, you see what is sitting on my tool box.  You want it?

The old sheriff was attending an awards dinner when a lady commented on his wearing his sidearm. 'Sheriff, I see you have your pistol. Are you expecting trouble?' 'No Ma'am. If I were expecting trouble, I would have brought my rifle.

Nice looking rooms, here's my Man Cave... was going to be the laundry room, but moving the plumbing turned out to be a bit expensive so I confiscated the room and made it mine... that's my story and I'm sticking to it.  ;D

Have to get past the guard dog to enter the Man Cave

LOL..ROFLMAO>>> No it's a long story; Readers Digest Version:  I was doing a story on Handgun Hunting, I was using a S&W Model 29 6" 44 Mag and I had both a Doe Tag and A Buck tag. I saw these two deer laying down in the snow about 100 yards away, and since I didn't see horns I thought them to be does. With open sights and a firm rest, as the deer stood up I placed a shot. My shooting skills back then were good, but I won't describe my lack of being able to seen the small rack. Anyway I did get the deer, but was surprised to find that I had in fact shot a Buck instead of a doe..A big body buck for 10,000 foot elevation in Colorado and it ate real good. I don't hunt with handguns any more especially pistol caliber. (I digressed from the theme of the original post)..I had it mounted as a reminder to my own stupidity and use it to hang my ego on!

Here is where the magic happens. I just started, as most of you know. This is just a space in the garage. But it is mine.

Um, guys? Ah, I sure don't like to make waves but, some of you need to be a bit more considerate of your fellow reloader/shooters. I mean those of you that posted pictures of a nice neat reloading area? WTF are you thinking??? What if our wife's ever see these pictures? How the heck then are we supposed to keep telling them that "Oh no- reloading benches are supposed to be messy. That is Man Code and it cannot be broken. Sorry dear, but I have no choice in the matter." Sheeeeze. OK, I am going to just believe here that the tidy reloading benches were ONLY done for photogenic reasons, and that it will never happen again.

Again, in the future try to be more thoughtful. I mean, what next? Pictures of your spotlessly clean pickup truck????
