Sound like a blast. I'll plan on it.

I don't have a sling yet. I was interested in the new Magpul sling. Does anyone have any experience with that sling or recommendations on another sling.

Also will we need a magazine holster? And if so, what is recommended for this type of course? A tactical vest?

My favorite is the Viking tactics sling.  You can get one at Vikingtactics.com or at brownells.com.  I have never used a Magpull sling.  A rifle magazine holder would be useful too. I recommend buying one at Center of Mass at http://comholsters.com/gallery/main.php?g2_itemId=132 . This company is in Idaho so I like supporting Rick from Center of Mass.  Tell him I sent you.  A vest is not necessary one mag holder will do. If anyone is not attending because of a piece of equipment let me know I may have extra someone can use for the class.
