He finally showed up, on our front porch this morning.
I was geting ready to stalk a coyotoe at the other end of the property and had my hands full heading out the door. And their he was on the front porch.
He took off, for a moment it was what to use, I had a .40 on my side, a 410 with #4 loads and a .22lr with a scope set at 75 yards.
After he came out from under the van and ran across the yard I decided to see what 410 would do .
At 25 feet it entered the hind quarter and exited the front sholder. Some shots must have traveled inside and they came out the front knee blowing it apart. And some of the came out the jaw.
410 with #4 would be more than enough for small mammels and even a coyotoe up close.

Anybody know a good cheap taxidermist? I called one guy and he wanted $110 for a basic leather tanning.
Or else I will order some chemicals and do it myself.
