Ammo trailer on Eagle/Fairview
« on: April 11, 2009, 12:33:23 PM »
I didn't have a chance to stop but as I drove by the big fields on Eagle north of Fairview, somebody had a big utility trailer and and large AMMO sign on the side.  He had a table out front of it with a bunch of stuff on it.  I wonder if all the ammo being bought up recently is partially due to some hoping to capitalize on a shortage in availability.

Darn, I read the topic and was hoping it was a real GI  ammo trailer (M332).  I could care less about the ammo, I want the trailer.

Actually, now that I think about it, a guy I know lives exactly where this one was described to be, but I know he doesn't have a GI ammo trailer. He does have a few military rigs there, though.

heard from a co worker who has a friend who works in the cabelas ammo department, that this guy buys up all of cabelas bulk ammo and sells it at marked up prices.

no clue if this is true or bs though.

Have you inquired with Alex at the Idaho Motor Pool in Fruitland. He has had ammo trailers in the past.

I didn't know there was any extra bulk ammo laying around. Btw, this past weekend he must have been selling banzai trees.

multicamspartan, Alex was the best man in one of my weddings. He and I are good friends. I'm there all the time, and could darn-near list his stuff from memory. Thanks anyway.
Anyone get the low down on the guy selling the ammo?

I heard second hand that he had 2L (Lemhi) plates and that his prices were outrageous.
