gun auction tomorrow 3/28
« on: March 27, 2009, 01:46:23 PM »
Anybody going to the auction at buck horn tomorrow? Looks like they have some interesting stuff. I noticed at the bottom of the page (www.downsauction.com) that there is a $25 ffl transfer fee for each gun sold. Makes all those .22's worth a bit less at auction if you gotta pay another $25 on top of the final price. Might still be fun to go look at the stuff they have.

I don't know what your problem is, but I bet its hard to pronounce.

They haven't said anything about a 'buyer's premium' that I've seen but don't be surprised if there's a 10% surcharge to pay the auctioneer. And taxes. Figure cost to be bid+16%+25 dollars.

With an auction that's been advertised as heavily as this one (I've received two fliers at home) don't be surprised to see people bidding more than MSRP for some items.

All data is flawed, some just less so.
