Cannot find AR15 carbine rifle Kits anywhere, only 20". Everyone is back ordered for months. If anyone knows of any let me know. I am trying to decide whose back order list I should get on for now.

I am seriously considering a 20" and maybe having it cut. Any opinions pro or con would be appreciated!

I ordered from Stag mid december when it seemed to be the peak of the buying rage, they said 6 months, but I recieved it in exactly 2 months. That was just for an upper though

they said they took a big military contract, I don't know if I got in before or after that

I was quoted 6-8 weeks when I ordered my Del-Ton kit and its been 17 weeks thus far with no word at all .

It is a result of the 911 conspiracy to bring down America. All of the kits were stored on the 98th floor on the night before the explosives were set. The TV videos of the planes flying into the tower are phony. The planes were actually flown backward out of the tower at the time the explosives went off in the basement. The videos were then played backwards. From that date on, all 4473’s with AR15’s on them have been sent directly to the UN. Well the kit I just got in was the last for about 4 months form M&A. Its hit and miss, you never know.

Thanks for the input guys!

RRA is a bit pricey for me as I want 5 of them, but then again beggars can't be choosers. So I am going to get on someones back order list ( if I can get through to anyone, lots of busy signals LOL ) and check the gun show in April if I don't have anything by then etc.

Woot Woot! Finally got some Rifle kits ordered! M&A has 16" SS mid lengths in stock pre-ban flat top, CAR stock with upgrades if you prefer.

Supposedly Del-Ton is building kits ordered November 21 and 22 right now so hopefully my 6-8 week wait that started on Nov. 21 is coming close to being over .

I just bought a rock river lower and a dpms upper. My rock river trigger is pretty heavy, but it is sharp and without play. I will replace it without a doubt, just because its harder than I would like.

If your looking to save money than my path will not help you. I bought from gunbroker at auction, and paid a bit more to have what I wanted and have it now.

Try a JP trigger spring kit just to lighten it up a bit . Dad stoned the sear on his Oly and added a JP spring and its way nice .

I figured I'd have to work on it a bit, but I was suprised to see how heavy it was once I took it out to the range to sight in the scope.

I'm by no means a master shooter with a rifle, and for the purposes of hunting usually just do a to the shoulder and fire method of sighting in, but the trigger is so heavy on this one I'm going to have to use a benchrest to insure that the sighting is tight enough. Not a big deal, frankly I'm glad to see that I managed to get one in the timeframe I got it.... Well that and I was able to insure that I got my hands on it if the boys in D.C decide that assault rifles are the cause of all evil in both the US and now in Mexico...

Just heard mine is shipping next week. Proof will be in the pudding since it took me threatening to cancel my order with the dealer before they responded with a date.

It was supposed to take 6-8 weeks , heck my second kit should have shipped already and it was a 10-12 week wait when I ordered it . It will probably make a great Christmas present . Luckily I have plenty of other things to keep me occupied .

I know what you mean. I ordered my in early December. It will get here, if they ship it next week, just in time for the 6 month anniversary of the order date. Only thing that kept me from canceling was the price I paid for it.

WooHoo! I have shipping confirmation

I am really in no rush as I can't really do anything with it anyway . If the next one takes until December so be it .

I will be into this one a whopping 650 bucks and the next one slightly more as I added some go fast parts but its still a heck of a lot less than what people are getting for kit guns right now .

Not a parts kit but there is a pawn shop on the blvd in Nampa (across from Fred Meyers) and he had about six AR's in there about three weeks ago.
