Emerson Knife Review
« on: February 03, 2007, 12:43:04 AM »
Here's an interesting review about the Emerson Knifes.  The website has some great stuff you might want to check out.  I ended up ordering both the Commander and the CQC-7.  Spiff now has the CQC-7.
Q: What was the most positive result of the "Cash for Clunkers" program?
A: It took 95% of the Obama bumper stickers off the road.

I really like the CQC-7. I do wish it were a bit bigger (as in longer blade), but in reality I wear it to work all the time and anything more than the 3 inch blade thats on it right now would not be tolerated very well. I get comments made about the knife all the time as it is..................matter of fact, if all the gals there didn't wanna bed me, I'm sure one of them would have complained by now!!   ;D

I did order several more Emerson's and can say they all rock.  I kept a Combat Karambit and a La Griffe.  I sold a Horseman, a CQC-15, and another CQC-7.  I got a Super Karambit but someone wants that too.  ;)

+1 on the CQC-7, I've had one for 10+ years, it is a work horse. I've bough other knives and tried carrying them, but keep coming by the the CQC-7.

I've got the CQC-7BS, it's an excellent knife. Now if I could just stop using it as a utility blade.........

That's what knives are for, to use.

I like my CQC-7 and want a Karambit.

Yeah, but cutting cables and plastic tends to dull it. And using it as a screwdriver tends to chip it............

Damn, this may be the first time I"m not able to tell you that if you would have drank the proper koolaid in the first place you wouldnt have had problems.  But in this case you took a sip from the proper glass.  This is all ok though, because it was operator error on your part which is just as much fun.
