Cliff just got in a huge shipment of powder.  1700 pounds or there abouts.  Some still isn't unpacked and priced yet, but if you've been looking for powder and not finding it at some of the other stores in the valley there is some to be found!

when I was in cabelas yesterday, I must have heard 8 different people asking if they had any reloading components (primers mostly), but cabelas is out of almost everything.

I've heard that Cabela's is scaling back on their firearms stuff so if a gun ban is put in affect, they don't come under scrutiny and have inventory on hand...just a rumor, please treat as such.

That makes absolutely no sense from a business perspective. If a gun ban were to be enacted, it would not be overnight. There would be a grace period.

And the people that would make the most money would be the dealers/stores that has a lot of guns that are going to be banned, because everyone would be buying them.

Not sure who started that rumor, but if Cabela's is in fact doing that to get ready for a gun ban, they have to be the stupidest business people in the world.

Update:  Wife reported that they got a bunch of primers in today.  Early, they weren't supposed to arrive until Thursday.  Anyways, 10K Small Rifles sold out in 50 minutes at 500 per person.  Had to put a limit of 500 max per person just to spread them around and prevent hoarding.  There are still some Large Rifle and Pistol left, butgoing fast.

That was all the SR that was available, and they'd been waiting for that for weeks.  There's gonna be a bunch of disappointed folks on Thursday.

I was in Cabellas the other day. They are just like everyone else trying to get black rifles in as fast as they can. They had something like 6 come in last Wednesday, and Thursday evening the had 1 Bushy carbon left. Thats it. Just like everyone else they have to wait. GWent to Meridian Sportsmans and compared inventory. I think Cabellas price has more to do with things. When I got my HK P2000, Sportsmans was $100 less, and my USP $50 less. If Im a smart consumer, in this economy,  I drive the 5 miles to Sportsmans or Impact or Boise Gun, and use the difference on ammo.

I fail to see what relevance the market price on black rifles and variability of pricing has to do with availability of reloading components.

i was there too...no small primers
but saw a few hundred fed large match pistol primers

Yea, if you are looking for SR primers, your gonna have to keep checking in.  When they get 'em they go in a hurry.

No small rifle primers today either... 

They do have plenty of powder though...and cases of .223 and .22...price is a bit high, but what isn't now days.
