Every gun is different

I have some that love Federal bulk (550 pK)  I now have 10/22 that does best with Federal (325 pk)

And none of my .22 like Remington, yet I had a friend over who's  weapon loved them best...

My Marlin 60SS like the CCI the best.

I would say you will need to try them all out to find what works best in the weapon you have....

CCI Mini Mags are great and incredibly accurate, and in my 1022 until I started using the CCI, the American Eagle had ruined many a whistle pigs day.

Best for me is Remington Subsonics followed closely by CCI subsonics.  ;)

If it’s the one I’m thinking of it shoot’s well with anything you feed it.

Nomad;
The best ammo for general use is any bulk box ammo like the Federal -550 – 525 – 325 – Auto Match – American Eagle. Try them all as mine likes the 40 grain bullets best.
Good ammo for inexpensive target practice Wolf match extra or Fed Gold Medal target.
For Wall….Up nothing beets the CCI stinger.

The best middle of the road stuff IMHO is the American Eagle 38 grain hollow point high velocity “red box stuff” at $16.00 for the 400 quantity a good deal for what you get.
The cheaper 550 box stuff is great plinking but not accurate enough out past 50 yards for reliable sage rat kills and the 100 count box stuff like the Fed Game Shok or CCI Velocitor dose not offer enough advantage to me for the added expense.

If you want the ultimate sage rat killing machine come out and try my 10/22 modified to shoot the .17 HM2. This thing is a laser beam out to 100 and at $4.00 a box for ammo I can afford shoot the rats without breaking the bank.
If you’re not familiar with the little .17 HM2 it’s a .17 based on the stinger casing and the little brother to the popular .17 HMR based on the magnum casing, both share the ballistic tip bullet that’s devastating on small game. (no death dance just red mist) ;D
