I haven't made it out this year.  Or last year.  :(
Q: What was the most positive result of the "Cash for Clunkers" program?
A: It took 95% of the Obama bumper stickers off the road.

My brother in law, who took 64 between he and his brother last year, says the numbers are way down this year.  He goes down near the NV border and has gotten only 10 this year.

I have been going out almost every day off this year. On average me and my buddies kill around 40 to 50 during the winter. i have only shot 13 most of which have been driving from boise back home. Been really hard to find this year. Have been looking all around southern Idaho. What method have you been using calling or just driving around and looking.

You guys are luckier than I am. I've only shot 3 this year and those where when I was elk hunting in november. every time I've actually gone just for them I couldn't find one. I use calls until I get bored then I drive around and look.

I shot one today out by the shooting location. I've been seeing his tracks for several weeks now shoulda takin a picture he looked well fed. The other ones I shot in the Island park area so they are not very close.

You shot one today did you at least save the pelt? I also shot one today out but freezeout hill got the pelt in the freezer that makes 14 this year so far. He was right around a 70 yards you got to love the 22 hornet works everytime. Do you do anything with pelts?

I've got a buddy of mine who does something with the pelts. I usually take him the whole carcass. because I cannot skin them very well. I actually got this one with a .303 brit that I just bought and was out there testing it out.
