Eh, we used to call that "buck fever." $:-\$ he was just racking them in and spitting them out. I was taught, and have passed it onto my kids that when you get that opportunity, you line it up, then stop, take your eye out of the scope or sights, and thank your maker (whoever that is to you) for the opportunity, then take aim again and fire. Similar to some army marksmanship units teach. Look at it this way, if the animal gets away, you where not meant to take that shot. I think its safe to say it hasnt hurt our take over the years. Deer dont shoot back (yet)
