This guy is someone I know and he will usually arrange delivery or meet you somewhere to save shipping costs. I have a couple, hopefully one never  needs them but it is nice to know you have some food around just in case.

If you are to lazy to set up your own food storage, this is the way to go.

That is a pretty good deal.  Plus the buckety can be used for a number of things.

Indeed looking at that I wonder which would be worse, starving or eating nothing but rice and beans for 6 months. Perhaps he should sell buckets full of toilet paper as well! I bet after the first month anything would be looking better than more of that!

It would make a hell of a good supplement to other stored foods.

Hello all,

My name is Nathan and I'm the one that put up the www.beansforboise.com site.

Some great idea's including some TP with each bucket.  I think I could fit a few rolls in there if they were compressed  :D

If you think you would rather have 1 gal bags of something else (like red wheat or other grains) just let me know.  It doesn't take much to put them together.

EDIT: So I see that boiseshooters.com has a donation area.  I'll make a deal, for every bucket ordered from members of BoiseShooters I'll donate 3 dollars via the treasury link below. Want to make sure great resources like this stay up and running.

How about some cookies? Just kidding, but I don't doubt Oreos would last that long.

Good Idea. I was thinking of doing something similar to this guy is doing as I am looking at getting laid off possibly in the near future.  I heard Costco sells something likes this but could not find anything at the Nampa Costco.

This is good Idea some staples in packed in Mylar. Good supplement for any food storage program. Or for emergency for someone who doesn't have a program.

Could add a bottle of whiskey to it to help it go down after a few weeks or at least trade the whiskey for something?  ;D

Ya, I started this up after I myself got laid off.  I've been on a preparedness kick anyway, and this seemed like a good side business to start.  Worse case is nobody buys any of my buckets and then I've got plenty of beans/rice/salt for gifts and eating!! 8)

Anyone that does want to order one or two, just let me know via PM or you can email me at beansforboise@gmail.com

An update: I've sold several buckets to people from this site, and I have made the donations promised.  I've had to order more supplies to keep up with demand (from here and elsewhere), and the prices have gone up.  So once I'm out of the product I have now, the new prices are going to be 53.00 for two or more buckets (each) or 58.00 for a single bucket. The price increase is to cover the materials used (mylar bags, absorbers, buckets etc).

As of right now, I have six buckets left at the lower price (50 for two or more, 55 for a single)

Have a good new year everyone.
