Honestly the best thing that I have is a leatherman.  I have used it from drifting pins to working on cars.  I have one of the old old ones so its a lot different.  Right now its the most used item in my armorers box. The cross tip screw driver works on a lot of screws right down to some pretty small ones.  And you can even use the very small flat head for really small cross tip screws.  Plus it has a saw and all the usual stuff.  But I would also put in a good set of both metric and SAE sockets, you never know.

I carry the Charge XTi with the additional bits in in my pack.  Thanks for the post though.  I need to check and make sure that I have all that's needed.

They are actually discontinued (old version) however I might still be able to get some.  I'll check later tonight.
