I thought this was a novel idea. The Gun O'Clock, due to launch in Japan last week for about $40, is a laser alarm clock you have to shoot to turn off the alarm.
Every time you pull the trigger and miss, you get feedback. There's also choice to make it harder where you have to hit the target five times successfully to turn off the alarm.
