Reliable bulk .22LR ammo??

What's your experience been in buying bulk .22LR ammo?  I bought a box of 550 Remington and about every 10th round is a dud!  Winchester doesn't seem any better.  Haven't tried Federal yet.  Is this just how it works with the bulk stuff?  Oh, and by the way, the duds show up in all our 22's - not just one of them, so I don't believe it's the gun(s).

Federal is what we use.  the remington stuff is crap from our experience.

I really like Federal Automatch, especially in the semi-auto's which this ammo was made for.

The Federal bulk 550 packs has always worked well in my 10/22 and Mk III. The remington bulk pack has always been really dirty, but I have good luck with the 50 round packs of the yellow jacket ammo.

Federal.

I buy about 3 to 4 boxes every two weeks...  3 kids in the country don't you know....

Any way 1 or 2 in the box might be a dud.

Remington is garbage we have lots of .22 and no matter what it gets used in 1 or 2 in 10 is a dud.

Just went through a brick of remington thunderbolts and they sucked. 1 to 2 in every 10 was a dud. Now the remington goldens I have are awesome.Haven't had a dud yet. Knock on wood. ;D

Is the automatch available locally? I couldn't find it around town, I did pick up some of the Federal Premium .22lr, and it seems to run pretty well through everything.  Thanks for the heads up!  :)
