Go prepared when out hunting

Remember kids, a backup gun is only useful when you don't leave it at the campsite.

Two bowhunters out for elk in Northwestern Wyoming got attacked by a bear.  Sounds like it could have been a lot uglier than it was.  Full story and pics at the link below.

most states do not allow a person to carry a firearm while bow hunting.  Even if that person has CCW.  Wyoming is one of those states to my understanding. >:(

Idaho is an open carry state - always carry - simple I think - - - good thinking on the Dad's part -

Wyoming is an open carry state as well, doesn't trump fish and game regulations


(I know, I know, I consider the Constitution the highest law of the land as well, but the courts and the police don't)
