Topic: Elk in your front yard

I was recently sent these pictures, which apparently were taken somewhere near the Coeur d'Alene area earlier this year.  Just thought I'd share.

Showed those pics to the wife and now we may be moving to North Idaho when I get out of nursing school!

Why, so big animals can come in your yard and and tear up you grass, eat all you planting,  and damage your trees?

And beside go outside, hoping they run away and not charge at you. because

YOU can't shoot them in your yard.....



Now if you live far enough out in the country you might have something there.  But you can do that down here too.....

 Great view in the front yard and plant may come up missing....
 A friend lives in central Idaho they eat lawn and garden cant run
them away as fast as that they are back...Thinking crazy dud.....yelling at what....

Have you seen how much a elk bleeds out before he goes down? even with a good shot...

I could see it know... OK, lets follow the blood trail kids, down the block, around the corner, oh, look thru the play ground, and why look over in the Truners rose brushes, yep he bleeding out and laying down trying to hide behind her evergreens. I think we got him, lets get the truck and skin him out in the back year, no one will notice. Smell, oh just tell them the dog have some gas.....
