Deer hunting with a shotgun

I am curious, is it legal to hunt deer with a shotgun that has an extended magazine?

You can have extra shells in shot gun as well as a rifle, now
during water fowl season only three in the gun with plug.

Thanks,  If I had read further there is another thread with the same topic.  I  had gone through a "tactical" breakdown a couple of years ago and all of my 870's have mag extensions on them.  I am to lazy to take them off and my boys and I are planning on hunting deer down on the snake river this week.  Hopefully with six in the tube, six in the sidesaddles and 4 in the stock on three shotguns we should be able to survive any size deer attack. Now to gather up the funds to outfit the guns with ammo.  48 ooo buck shells require a loan these days.

Another shotgun question.  Is it legal to hunt deer with an SBS?
