The story is reminiscent of those from the US.

Very Sad. I have family that lives in Kauhajoki.
I visited there when I was younger. I actually lived in a town not to far from there.
It's a relatively small community.

So I read several articles... all calling for more gun laws, especially to change the law about a 15 year old being able to buy a gun, and the laws about how police can take your license away.

The guy doing the shooting was 22yrs old... why is there a discussion about 15yr olds?

The guy doing the shooting didn't break any laws, BEFORE the shooting, but nowthey want to give preemptive power to the police? Anybody see/read Minority Report?

More Laws! We need more Laws about guns, especially handguns, those things only belong on ranges. Poppycock, they belong on my hip so I can use when I need it.

I hate the media, anyone hear about the local boise guy that the news reported as a gun wielding bicyclist  threatening people? Turns out he was verbally assulted, and then multiple guys jumped out of their car and started threatening to beat him up, he started screaming he had a gun BUT NEVER DREW IT. Scared the kids off, and the media ran with a bad story.

Idiots, all idiots... AAARRRRGGGHHHH

Never think they are idiots Brian. They know *exactly* what they are printing. They do it in order to get the *exact* response they want from the uninformed public.
Necessity is the plea for every infringement of human freedom. It is the argument of tyrants; it is the creed of slaves.  ~William Pitt
