Topic: Anyone hunt deer unit 33 or 25?

Well, I'm going to take my boy out this year for the first time.  He's gotten his Hunter Ed requirement out of the way, so now I'm making plans.  Originally, I'd just planned on doing some bird hunting with him.  But, decided to take at least one weekend to try and find some deer.

Anyway, I figure I'll hit one of two units I hunted in as a kid - either 33 (Garden Valley area) or 25 (Warm Lake area).  Personally, I don't care if I get something, but it would be nice if my boy got a shot off.  We're going to one of the two places because we can stay in friends cabins for the weekend. 

I haven't hunted in either unit in years.  Anyone go there lately?  Decent hunting?

OB - no, because I'll be there, every place else will be where the deer are.  You are good to go!

SO!  No one hunts these areas??  That doen't bode well.

if you wind up around warm lake, try to get up around landmark. (may be a different unit up there) we camp up there all the time and have always seen animals including moose.
