I've seen a number of these before individually but someone put them all in one vid for our viewing pleasure.

I can understand the girls in the videos having problems because they looked like they had never been shooting before and a boyfriend or husband or whatnot took them along...

But all the GUYS? All of those could have been prevented had they not held the gun like a sissy.

Well...except the DEA guy...he deserved it.  ;D

Really? I've always felt sorry for him. What he was trying to do was a good thing, teach kids about the dangers of firearms. Did he handle the pistol poorly? Yeah. Could it have been worse? Yeah, it could have been a lot worse. Did he deserve to have his career trashed over it? And the video of it splashed all over the Internet? I'm not so sure about that.

Always remember, this *thing* we love can easily bite us to. All it takes is a second of carelessness. And then we won't be so cocky as to pass judgment on someone else.

Not just picking on you TrooperBrian, 99% of the "gun guys" out there have the same reaction to that video that you did. I wonder how many of them can truthfully look someone in the eye and say they've never had an ND?

Yeah I can understand what you're saying...there are two sides to everything...

Ok I see where the confusion is coming from. He deserved it in the way that handling a firearm carelessly resulted in an ND. Not in the way that his career was marred by being plastered across the internet, make sense?

they call things accidents for a reason i agree with Spiff people just need to be more cautious the one i didn't feel bad for was the guy wearing the turban... and before i get jumped on for being racist i say that because there were 5 different flix of him in different ways getting "beat up" by the guns watch carefully each time he shoots it there is a different outcome... if your stupid enough to not learn after 2 times then you probably shouldn't be doing it...

:D The first time my wife shot a .44mag revolver it just about put her on her butt too.  Good times, good times...

For my wife, it was the Smith Model 57 in 41mag. Damn did me and my brother-in-law get a good laugh out of that! ;D

The ones with the guys in the lab coats is from the Accurate Arms reloading website. It is the .577 T-Rex. Apparently it has a little recoil...

Phew...quite the round...

They showed the DEA agent clip in the CCW class, and one other clip from the above video.  ;D
