I think that anyone with training would have stopped the threat...
BG in jail , Saint still alive , sounds like he did alright The only 2 things about the situation that scared me when I read this were 1. When he described disarming the BG . I envisioned him being well within striking distance without backup and 2. The BG getting back in his vehicle , which I consider a much more dangerous weapon than even a handgun .I on the other hand wasn't there and having had a gun pointed at me in my lifetime I can tell you it jacks you full of adrenaline so your decision making capabilities may not be in top form . In the end I was impressed at how well he kept his composure and that everyone including the BG went home safe . Had he shot someone posessing only a BB gun he would have faced the wrath of the general public and the legal system as well as having to live with some level of guilt for the rest of his life . Right , Wrong or indifferent we are taught not to kill from a very young age and even if it seems justifiable from our Monday morning , armchair QB spots Saint would have had to live with the consequences .Good Job Saint !! Lets hope you never have to do it again .
