Cableone is the most reliable.  Century link is OK but I personally would avoid Clear.  My employee has it and constantly complains about the slow speed and poor connection on rainy days.

Heritage/Digis WiFi is another option for wireless.... I live where there is no cable or DSL so I have had them for years. http://heritagewifi.com/

Went with century since we only use Internet.

Anyone know where I can jump online somewhat securely for an hour or so?

+1 for digis. I have used them for two years and they have been great. No contract, 5 download, 2 upload.

Stopped by ACSO today to apply for my CWP. Kind of bummed to hear that they seem to take their sweet time issuing permits. I guess I will expect it at the end of August. Also got the trailer plates, and plates for both trucks. Need to hit the DMV again to get the boat inspected and get new numbers and take the car my wife drives to get inspected.

Love it so far. We live in a very peaceful house with ducks and geese just over the back split rail fence. Wife loves her job and is getting acclimated to the day shifts. Son is having a bit of a hard time going to sleep, but he is stubborn like his dad so it is no surprise.

Getting the business organized and getting back to selling stuff. By the way, if anyone is interested in a stinger missile case, I have 3 left. Shoot me a PM and we can talk details.

Thanks for all the tips and hints and hope to see some of you out and about.

I believe the CWL requires an FBI background check.  I'll bet that's where all the time is wasted.
Q: What was the most positive result of the "Cash for Clunkers" program?
A: It took 95% of the Obama bumper stickers off the road.

Idaho boys renewals move to the head of the line and that slows things down as well for first timers. Look on the bright side, you could still be in kalifornia. Relax and enjoy the slow pace of life that makes you all relocate here.

Absolutely right. So glad I am not there. Today is my first day where I don't feel like I have 50 errands to run. Just a couple things to do and I want to get the house put together more. It would be nice for my wife to get home from work and see the living room essentially assembled and the bedroom done. Oh, and I need to stop at sportsmans warehouse and see if they got a Ruger SR22 pistol in today.

If you don't find any at sportsmans, i had heard cabelas got a big shipment of them in (20 or so).  Hopefully they still have some in stock.

Sportsmans did not get any and Cabelas is out of stock. Impact doesn't have them either. If anyone knows of a shop that has them for the $299 price, let me know.

Liking this place more and more.

Took a drive out to lucky peak today to see what the lake was like and the what the launch ramp situation was. Really nice lake. I like the docks that are all along the shoreline in case you want to stop and eat lunch on shore. Bought season launch passes from the Army Corp and from Idaho state parks. Not sure if we will take the boat out on Monday or not.

After that I stopped at Cabelas and looked around and priced our a few things, then went to impact and did the same thing. Then went to Sportsman's and walked out with an M&P22. I have an SR22 on the way from impact that should be here tomorrow. That should round out my 22's for a while.
