Good thing we don't have a democracy as portrayed in the videos.  While the electoral college may not be the best choice I'll take it over mob rule.

We live in a Republic. We have to have checks and balances so the mentality of just a few large states do not dictate to the rest.

+1.  The Electoral College is Constitutional - mob rule (also known as "One Man, One Vote") is not.
