Weather for Parma tomorrow is slight chance rain/ snow @2300 ft. high near 45*  But wind will be 26-34 mph and gust to 46mph?!?!  I'm thinking about staying in tomorrow... or are we sheltered from the wind out there?

Parma and Nampa both are not what i would really call sheltered.  But the berms on the pistol pits help some.

Can somebody re-hash what the special announcement was at Nampa 2 weeks ago?
I was there but must have missed something?

Thanks
Matt

The annoucement at Nampa in regads to IDPA is that I'm putting together a Clinic. Anybody new to IDPA or unclear what the rules are and how to shoot a stage will find this clinic of great help. Hopefully this will lessen the problem of people from learning the book  one penalty at a time.

I'll be setting up a few stages and we will go over all the things that catch people. I.E. The proper use of cover. How to think abaout a stage. What skills are needed. What are the S.O.'s looking at etc. Then everybody will have a chance to shoot also.

I'm still working out the details and schedules but it will be in April.

But suffice to say with all the confusion and questions about IDPA this will clear up a lot.

If anybody has specific things that they would like to be included shoot me a message.

As far as the weather for tomorrow all I can offer is this.

1) How often is the predicted weather right in the first place.

2) I have had the weather iffy in Boise and wondderful in Parma and vice versa.

3) The only real way to find out is to show up. If you get blown out have a nice breakfast in town and enjoy the drive in the country.

Windy doesn't even come close to what it did today. At one point the barricades were moving and the target were flying off the sticks!

But it was still a great day for shooting  ;D

Wind was no big deal, the hail was not bad either.

It was fun with the Automatic weapons guys letting rip with MG42's, etc as background noise.

Busted the 500m gong with a friends K31 Swiss 7.5x55, with iron sights in the wind after the match
