GunDudes radio podcast did an interview with him a Shot last week. It was very interesting to listen to as well.

One of the things that was interesting, was that after the release of Die Hard 1 or 2, can't remember, where they took a glock thru the metal detector and it didn't go off... resulted in a congressional hearing on the safety of airport with "plastic guns" that could go thru metal detectors.

They actually had Gaston Glock come over to testify... In my mind I'm thinking Really? A movie prompts a congressional hearing on this being true? You could walk across the street to the FBI and ask, "hey, can you really do that?"

Just goes to show how stupid people are... they read/watch fiction and think it's real.

Near the end he talks about how the public opinion has shifts-- how there isn't support for a new AWB and how crime has gone down and there are more guns than ever in America, how the supreme court is taking gun ownership and right more seriously.

Most interesting to me is that he seems to be a converted liberal, and it seems that he almost turns the liberal host a bit just by the way he talks about guns.... He points out that firearms have a long history in America and that recent public fear doesn't hold up rationally.

He was also on "Democracy Now" on public access this morning. I had a hard time figuring out how they managed to get someone that was reasonably intelligent and NOT a flaming libtard about firearms.

Though I am wondering what was in the book that made "them" pull his press credentials for the SHOT show. He implied that someone at Glock didn't like something in the book.
All data is flawed, some just less so.
