M&P PRO 9MM Sight Suggestions
« on: January 21, 2012, 08:32:10 AM »
Just picked up an M&P Pro, I'm very new to all of this and would like suggestions on a new rear sight that is adjustable...  Any info would be greatly appreciated!

Dawson precision is where I got mine. Get the matching front sight also. Good sights.

Have dean Barton or Rk do it.

I wouldn't worry about adjustable sights right away.  I have an M&P pro and think the factory sights are pretty good and shoot to point of aim (for me) with most any ammunition.  If it shoots left or right you can always drift the rear sight with a brass punch or have a gunsmith do it if you give him the target and how far away you were shooting.

These guys don't make an adjustable sight but I would recommend 10-8 Performance.

I checked on Midway's site and didn't see any adjustable sights for the M&P.  Not saying that no one makes them, just didn't see any.

Matt, I have a fixed set of Warren Tactical sights on my M&P Pro but I really considering switching to the Dawson Precision adjustables that Donm suggested.  You are welcome to shoot mine anytime.  If you can tune a Hoyt you can install these yourself...and as Travis suggested RK or Dean Barton could bail you out if you need it.

I shot today and I didn't shoot that great but the gun sure did.  You are right Bob, the factory sights worked great, I'm going to  leave them alone....  Thanks again

I wouldn't recommend adjustable sights especially for concealed carry.
It should have gone out with Novak's... Unless that has changed. Regardless I'm a huge fan of Novak... Can't go wrong, nothing better.
