I have been trying to get logged into this sight since Sunday, finally figured it out.  Well I'm here to learn a lot, and I did my first IDPA shoot this last weekend and had the time of my life!! Looking forward to shoot the steel challenge this weekend!!!!  By the way I want to thank all the good people at the range on Saturday and Sunday for making me feel welcome and for taking the time to teach.  Shout out to Dave and Jason!

Welcome Matt!

I think you'll find that if you like to shoot IDPA, USPSA, Steel Challenge, 3-gun, or LRTR... there are plenty of opportunities in the Boise area.  It is only limited by how many kitchen passes you can get allocated, or how much reloading you can do during the week to keep up. 

If questions, drift on over to the Shooting Sports forum, and we'll do out best to get you started in the right direction.

were you in my squad, matt, with dave as the SO? I was tall skinny guy (not as tall as jason) wearing the military surplus winter coat, and picking up everyone's brass for them.

Like Evans said, jump over to the shooting sports section and dive right in!
Evans has some great FAQ threads in the USPSA section that have helped me tremendously over the last year.
Glad you made it, there's a ton of great info to be found here.
